Night Out with Friends and Lady
After consuming a modest amount of beer in honor of a friend's birthday celebration I coaxed my lady friend into a local record establishment. She was very good natured about it and I was very pleased that she did not have to feign too much contentment and I perused the "new arrivals" and the "$2.99" bins. I "double-fisted" my way through the boxes and found a lot of "maybe..." and "oh, well... too bad" options and settled on some simple rewarding dance tracks from my golden era of night clubbing.

Red Onion Visit

I discovered a "local" shop near where I work here in Du Pont circle about a year ago. A good man, Josh, runs a neighborhood shop called Red Onion. I got onto his mailing list a few months back and finally made it into his shop. I picked up the following:

Truth in Wine and Records

Well - I am not a wine expert, but I know what I like. I am not an expert on collecting vinyl records. However, I enjoy them both. I will admit up front that most of my blogs will be exclusively about collecting records. I enjoy wine while cataloging them and will be happy to share what vinyard and vintage I am drinking, no matter what the cost.

I have been on, to quote a friend, a "vinyl diet" since March. I splurged lately and spent under $20.00 on the following three purchases:
